About my C10
This is my 1970 Chevrolet C10. It started out as a city work truck. I have been working on restoring it over the last 10 years and have been working on it daily for the last 6 months to finish it up. I have done all the customizing work myself. The only thing that I had done was the machine work on the motor and the assembly of the motor. The motor is a SBC 400 bored out to a 406. I did the motor old school. It has camel hump heads and an oil front fill intake, etc. I have a 1985 camaro 5 speed tranny. It has a stock 3.73 rear gear with a mini spool. The fuel tank that was behind the seat has been removed an a fuel cell is in the back of the frame with the gas filler door being the driver's rear side marker light. The side marker light still works and the bed was not modified in any way to accomodate the gas filler. I notched the frame 2 inches and boxed in the frame. I also built the trailing arms from 3" square tubing. There isn't a nut or bolt that hasn't been upgraded or modified. There is so much that I have done to this truck that I couldn't possibly list everything.
