1963 Chevrolet C10 Pickup - 63chevalberta

This truck used to belong to a friend of my grandpa's, they would go fishing together in it. My brother bought it off him some years after my grandpa passed away, he would only sell it to family, $50 later my brother had a project!. So he set to work restoring/modding it, putting in the usual comforts like power steering, brakes, etc, and changing the three in the tree tranny to an automatic. He drove it for a while, till about 2001, then his girlfriend ran it hot and seized it, so it sat on our family's farm in the shed for 10 years. Then in 2011 my wife, who knows I've always wanted to own a classic chev of my own, conspired with my brother to suprise me with this truck for my birthday! Of all the different trucks sitting on the farm, this one had always been my favourite, and I always wondered why my bro never tried resurrecting it (he's into rat rods now).My brother put a 283 motor from a combine in, a few new parts and she was ready to go! I haven't done much to it yet, just enjoy driving it when the weather allows here in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
