About my C10 Pickup

My ole truck started life as a C-20, I have changed it over to half ton, using 1983 C-10 doners front suspension. Then dropped it another 5 inches with spindles and springs. I installed a 1979 Z-28 10 bolt posi in the back end. I changed it over to leaf spring since the trailing arms were toast. This is before I realized I was building a streetrod.  THEN  I found out about all of the trick new lowering parts for the original type suspension. Oh well I am pure hell on 2 piece driveshafts anyway.  Engine is a 355 with 202 double hump heads,weiand intake ,holley carb and a plum ignorant cam.  I'm probably stretching it on the horsepower but it sure feels like it autta be 400, you know how that goes.  Oh yeah I forgot the muncie rock crusher.  I am not a professional body man by any means, but I am happy with my jibtorque induction hood scoop . I did do 95 % of the work myself, but did have a little help from my friends,And  A MAJOR AMOUNT OF PATIENCE FROM MY FIANCE.  Thank God for her patience!!!
 I have about a year and a half of time invested on the project over 3 years. and just got it painted .

hey im looking for the 67 reproduction bed side but i havent found one, all repro are from 68-72, any ideas, my only idea is to take a 68 bed panels and patch where the marker light goes

For doing it your self with help of friends and having to suffer through the patience of a woman is definately a 5 star rating. Love the color and bed wood. Lots of suspension work and all for the better. Send some pictures when your done. Be proud of your efforts, your doing a great job. When the little lady is setting next to you cruising the boulevard it will dawn on her that patience is a two way street. Enjoy.
