About my Other International

1936 International 1/2 ton short wheel base pickup.  Almost entirely created in the garage.  Mustang II crossmember, 2" drop spindles, 11 inch rotors, tubular a arms, t-bird power rack, QA-1 adjustable coilovers, 383 stroker, 2.02 double hump heads, aluminum radiator, 700R4 with Painless lock-up, 10 bolt chevy rear, and the body is mostly stock.  The box is 10 inches shorter and 3.5 inches taller than the original, custom gate, cover, and rear pan.  Diamond t headlights, reversed and revised cab lights for tail lights.  Interior is all custom - vinyl with suede IHC inserts.  Just added adjustable '09 Saab leather seats that match the lighter interior color.  Swapped out the old rims for 20" and 17" Cragar Chrome 5 spokes with directional tires.  Lots of custom work.  A joy to drive.

Big Zig,
I took your comments to heart and completed an interior cover plate for the drop down console.  Your right, it looks much better this way.  Can't do much about the fan - when I idle for too long she heats up so I need an auxiliary.  I could remove the hood or parts of it, but that takes away from the looks.  It has a 4 core aluminum radiator in it.  There is just too much heat to move out from under that small nose when I'm parading.  Your truck looks great.  IHs

Great looking Truck! The mods look great and the your color choices hit the mark. I rated the truck at 4 1/2 stars. took a half point for the unfinished looking center councel under the dash that holds your exposed radio and I know that kepping that stroker cool is mandatory but that electric fan bleeding through that beautiful front end made me go ehhh. Overal a great looking Hot Rod.
