About my Other GMC

1955 GMC 1/2 ton 4x4
383 Stroker, 700R4 Trans, NP208 Transfer Case, 4.10 gears with 12 bolt Eaton posi in rear axle. 33x12.50x17 Cooper STT on Cragar chrome wheels.
Power steering, power disc brakes, air conditioning.

This truck has had a complete frame up restoration/custom build with attention to detail. All the work was done by myself with exeption of the paint. I've owned this truck since 1984 and have always wanted to completely rebuild it. I finally got to that position in 2003, and aside from a break while deploying to Iraq, I never stopped until it was painted in Feb 08. I then finished the reassembly and had it on the road by April 08. The interior is freshly painted the same color as the exterior and has power seats from a late model Silverado, Alpine stereo, and air conditioning.

Sweet ride Wade. I have always loved the 55-56 GMC look and your restoration/modification does us GMC owners proud.  I recently purchased a 1956 GMC and hope to restore it to original condition, but I have to wait until I return back to the states.  I'm a 21 yr. Air Force veteran and still living in Germany.  I can't wait till I finally settle down so I can start working on my GMC.  Again, VERY NICE ride!!!
