About my C1500

It is The Heartbeat of Excitement!!!  1952 Chevy 5-window Truck with a Pontiac Trans Am subframe and drivetrain.  It was a hopeless rust bucket that would rattled as it went down the road, (hence the name "old Rattler") that I got from my dad when he passed away.  He would always talk about what he would do if he had the money... I finished his dream!  6.6 TA big-block bored 40 over, modified just enough to get the horsepower buy yet driveable.  Turbo 400 TCI streetfighter transmission with a B&M 2800 stall converter.  Richard Hansard at Hi-Tec Customs brought her back.  All steel, no bondo.  The bed and custom running boards are new.  Custom firewall and inner fenders.  Power steering, power brakes, power windows, and even Cadallic Elderado power seats.  Old Rattler lovers to burn the 20's mounted to the K&M Zodiacs...but keep it on the low-low, preachers are supposed to keep it respectable.

Spring, Texas

Don't really care for the stance.  With the current setup it looks like it's missing curb-feelers and wire rims.  The paint and body looks nice.  I like the smoothed firewall as well.  Slam that thing a little and I think it will look a lot better.  Nice truck over all.
